The Crow is a 1994 film based on the comic book series of the same name, published in 1989.
The film achieved notoriety, even before its release, because during filming the protagonist Brandon Lee died after being shot in a scene of the film by accident, at the hands of supporting actor Michael Massee. It was considered abandoning the project after his death, but it was finally decided to go ahead, using a double, dark scenes and computer retouching. The film was presented as a tribute to Lee since at the end you can see a dedication that says "for Brandon and Elisa."
